Just came across this amazing McQueen video titled 'HALLOWEEN WITH McQUEEN' and had to post it, I could not work out how to post it on my page, so to watch the video click on the picture to follow the link :)

I have seen so many different designs of the Chelsea Boot recently, originally worn of course by the stylish Mods, these boots whether in different colours or a higher heel, are big this season.

On Monday I went on a trip to Oxford with my new Uni course, which I am really enjoying, we went to visit the Pitt Rivers Museum and the Natural History Museum there and had a little explore of the city as well, I had a lovely day and below are some pictures.

For lunch we had chicken and leek pie with mash and gravy, it was SO good.

Paris Fashion Week is my favourite fashion week, and so of course I had to do a blog Post on all my favorite shows, I shall begin with the most classic of all, Chanel.

The collection was inspired by a magical underwater world, and the show sure did reflect this. The Grand Palais was transformed by white corals, shells and sea horses in to an breathtaking underwater world. I loved the fabrics used in this collection, the models seemed to shimmer and float down the catwalk.

Alexander McQueen
Stunning as always, my favorite design house has done it again.  Silk chiffon's, black lace and lines of ruffles were teamed together and used to create this beautiful, Oceanic life inspired collection

Christian Dior
A collection that I believed to be safe, It didn't have the usual Dior feel to it. Having said that, I did like the colour palette and use of print.

Louis Vuitton
Such a cute collection full of; lace, big collars, Broderie anglaise, feathers, laser cut tops and soft pastel shades.
You HAVE to watch the show below, it was AMAZING!

On the Wednesday of Fashion Week I went to the U.MI -1 Menswear Presentation at Vauxhall Fashion Scout, I do not really follow Menswear, but thought it would be interesting to see. I really liked the use of panelling on the shirts, jackets and trousers.
And I found the lapels on the jacket, with the nautical gold buttons on, were very interesting, and gave a new twist on the classic Men's blazer.

Been very busy over the last few days, so thought I would catch up while a have some time on my final few LFW posts.
On the Tuesday Afternoon of LFW I attended two shows: Danielle Scutt & Aminaka Wilmont.

Danielle Scutt
The first being Danielle Scutt, the Show was titled 'Thug Life' and explored Male youth Subculture. The collection was not my personal taste, but I did like the use of tartan and suspenders, I was surprised to see the use of glitter at the Scutt show and I liked the ways in which she had explored the fabrics. The acid- washing of the denim was not a favorite of mine, but then I have never been too keen on this technique on denim, but It did work well against the tartan shirts. Overall, Scutt showed a strong collection that emphasized her strong Individual design style within the London Fashion scene.

Aminaka Wilmont
Next was Aminaka Wilmont, the Scandinavian duo produced a collection that was inspired by Scandinavian folklore,  and had a magical feel to it. The collection used sheer fabrics, floral printed armour and stunning silk prints to enforce this feel. This was one of my favourite collections from Fashion Week.
(Below I have put some better pictures, as mine are not too clear)
