While I was on my trip to Scotland I went into a cute little gift shop that sold these little A6 notebooks, they are by a company called Oscar & Toots and they would make lovely little gifts. The other great thing about them is that the covers are removable, so when you use up the notebook inside you don't have to stop using the beautiful cover!

Oscar & Toots are available from here and here

A month ago I saw all over the beauty blogs that I follow that Fragrance Direct were selling Dainty Doll products for under £5! Being fair skinned I made sure that I purchased some of the products as they normally retail for over £10! I had previously tried the loose mineral powder foundation and was not impressed with it for £20, but thought I would give the blushers, eye shadows and eye pencil a try, and I was really impressed.

I have been using the powder blushers for a bit now, and I'm really impressed with the colours. I purchased shades 004 and 002. 002 is a really pretty pink colour, as I usually wear pink blusher's this is the shade I have been wearing most out of the two, but I also have been really loving the 004 shade which is a coral shade, its is a nice change and also great for Spring/Summer. The 004 shade has a shimmer to it also, making it perfect for summery evenings.

For the eyeshadows I purchased shades 001 and 002, 001 'Are you experienced' being a light brown which is lovely blended with a lighter shade and 002 'Treat her like a lady' a nude shade which is perfect for everyday.  I really was impressed with these eyeshadows they have plenty of pigment and apply very nicely!

The final product I got was the eyeliner pencil in 002 a dark brown, I used to be a big fan of eye pencils but have stuck with liquid eyeliner for a long time, however after trying this shade I found it a nice change with the above eyeshadows for a more natural look.

Last month Uniqlo unveiled it's collaboration with Celia Birtwell, she used her archives of beautiful prints to create this lovely collection with the Japanese label. Birtwell became widely known in the 60's when she worked with her then husband Ossie Clark as a textile designer. Birtwell's most recent collaboration was with Topshop in 2006 which was a huge sell out. I never managed to get hold of a piece of the Topshop collab and so need to get my hands on a piece from this collection, I just cant decide between the shirt, culottes or trousers and I wish the totes were not sold out, as they looked so cute also!

I have always been a fan of stationary and especially new stationary, as I have got older this has not changed and so the other day when I stumbled across this beautiful Etsy shop Knot & Bow that has lovely present tags, ribbons and stickers, I  had to post about it. I personally love the heart stickers and doilies!

For some reason recently I have been drawn to the shade of Lemon, It might have something to do with the fact that summer is FINALLY on it's way, but anywhos below are some of my picks that feature this lovely summery shade.

The B-eautiful shirt - Equipment
Cut- Out Sandals - Hobbs
The Bag - Chris Benz for Cambridge Satchel
Lemon printed Bikini - Topshop
Lemon Skater Skirt - Topshop
Nail Polish - Butter

It was back in February now that I visited Milan and London Fashion Week and managed to get some shots for my street style project from Uni last term as well as for the blog. Below are some of the snaps that I got, the shots are quite A/W, but good inspiration for A/W 13!

It was a few months ago was when I first came across the Bamford skin care products, I was in Liberty's being tempted by everything in store, and whilst smelling the vast amount of hand and body creams in Libertys bath and body department I found Bamford and literally fell in love with the scent's.  I purchased the organic lip balm and the geranium hand lotion and really love these products! The scents are A-mazing, fresh and uplifting and the cream is just the right consistency and really has kept my hand's all soft through this past winter! The hand lotion is also free from all the bad stuff - sulphates, parabens, gmo ingredients, artificial fragrance and colour. The organic lip balm is equally a great product and my Mum now even has a pot too! Bamford can be purchased at Liberty's or Brummels of London.

Bamford Geranium Hand Lotion - £18.00 for 250ml
Bamford Organic Lip balm - £12.00 for 15ml

A few weeks ago I came across this new brand of leather bags that are so cute, the inspiration for the bags comes from a local milkman in 1967 who needed a cash bag and so a master leather craftsman made him one. He then recently brought the bag in to have it repaired and that was where the idea grew from! - How amazing it that! ..Plus they are made in the UK!

Below are some of the bags, their website is coming soon but you can purchase them from The Hut

As I have not blogged in a while thought I would do a little update on the trip to Milan that I took in February with my Uni course.
Below are some photos from the trip!

April is here, and so as Spring is (hopefully) supposed to be right around the corner, I thought I would do a little post on some products that I would like to get my hands on.

1. The first product is the Clinique chubby sticks, the first company to get on the chubby stick bandwagon have produced these for both lips and eyes. I love the colours of the eye sticks especially Portly plum and Pink & Plenty.

2. The next product Is the Aromatherapy Associates Bath and shower oil, I have seen these featured in many magazine articles now and they sound amazing!

3. Bourjois have released vintage designs on their pots to celebrate their heritage and the classic Cendre de rose shade, I love this colour of blusher, perfect shade for Spring/Summer.

4. Morrocan oil has been on a bit of a hype recently, and there have been many products released, I have tried some with this oil in and have seen some results but nothing great, reviews of this are great and I need to get a bottle!

5. Chanel lipstick in Aventure, I am a huge fan of Chanel lipsticks, I love the consistency of them and the shades! I am a fan of pink hues and natural tones and so the shade Aventure is perfect, One for Spring!
