I thought I would do a post on some beauty bits that I bought last month, with the craziness of third year I have not had the chance to post but I am now finished and am looking forward to getting back to my blog! Also, I have now had the chance to try all these products and so will give you a rundown on my thoughts.
First was Boots, I did have a list of some purchases that I needed (well..wanted) although I ended up getting purchases that were more spur of the moment buys. Whilst in Boots I was walking past the Max Factor counter and noticed their wild shadow pencils and was drawn to a metallic bronze shade (shade number 05). As soon as I got home I wanted to try this pencil as was really intrigued with the colour, the consistency is really creamy and blends beautifully to create a smokey eye effect. I have used this pencil a few times now blending it with the bronze eye shadow from my MAC Veluxe Pearl fusion Shadow palette.
From my boots shop, I also purchased the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter which comes in jumbo crayon like packaging. I have been really impressed with this product and its so easy to apply! This will definitely be a repurchase. Next I popped to Topshop as I had not checked out their Make Up in a while. I came across a highlight palette, which I have used a few times and not been overly impressed the consistency, its very thick and hard to blend, so not so keen on this! The final bits that I picked up on this shopping trip were the H&M brushes which I had seen Dolly Bow Bow talking about on her Youtube channel so thought I'd try them out. I already have the real techniques brushes and really love these, but wanted a few extra ones especially for eyes, I purchased the eyeshadow and the blusher brush, and have been really happy with the eyeshadow brush, its very soft and so far none of the bristles have fallen out at all whilst applying product, however,  I have not been so happy with the blusher brush, as the bristles pick up minimal product if any and its just generally hard to use.
In a separate shopping trip, I was treated to a beautiful Laura Mercier Lipstick in Mango, which I LOVE! This is my first Laura Mercier product and definitely will not be the last, the consistency is so creamy and lasts for ages.
The final products that I wanted to write about were the lip glosses that I made. As part of my final major project I developed a natural make up line and as part of the project I wanted to create some of the products to learn all about natural cosmetics. The course was so interesting and fun to learn about all the different processes to make a lipgloss. I went to a course run by Herbal Harmony, but I'm sure there are lots of different business that run them.

Thats all for my new products for the last month, I have popped a picture below.
