Last week my boyfriend and I took a long weekend break in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. We had heard a little about the amazing design that you can find around every corner, so being big interiors and fashion fans we were eager to check out what Copenhagen had to offer.
I will of course pop a little post up about what we got up to in Copenhagen, but I thought that first I would post this OOTD that we snapped in the Botanical Gardens.
I don't think we realised how beautiful it would be and were amazed at how many plants were housed in what seemed from the outside a smallish greenhouse, but inside you could get lost in the overgrown palms and vines.
It's definitely worth checking out; make sure that you check out the cacti and succulents house which are amazing! Plus if you go in the Winter, it’s also a nice winter warmer with its sub tropical climate (however make sure you wear layers - I was more than cosy in my jumper and Arctic parka).
Whilst in Copenhagen I think I may have come away with more than a little inspiration from the Scandi style. It's so effortless and simple, all the greys, navy, pinstripes and knitwear: so classic.
If you were wondering where the jumper I have on below is from, you may be surprised to hear that it’s from TU Clothing at Sainsbury's, yes Sainsbury's….how amazing!
When I saw it originally on The Frugality's Instagram and with 25% off, I couldn't resist. This jumper is so cosy and was perfect for freezing Copenhagen.
For this trip I wanted a comfy outfit for walking round the city that was also practical, so this jumper teamed with ankle cut flares from H&M and my ever versatile Stan Smiths, was the perfect ensemble.
