Copenhagen | Nyhavn

Every time I purchase a new piece for my wardrobe I manage to convince myself that it will definitely be a staple piece and that I will be able to team it with everything, even though 5 out of 10 times it most definitely is anything but a staple piece.
However, this coat was different. It's a game changer and has kept me warm and cosy throughout two winters now. It's the ultimate parka; it's cosy, has a faux fur lined giant hood that you can hide away from the cold in, a beautiful woollen green body and bold orange lining that you couldn't miss. It's a parka that really does work with everything.
This coat may be a tad too cosy for tube journeys and the commute but for a weekend trip to Copenhagen, it was absolutely perfect.
My boyfriend and I went to Copenhagen back in November and it has to be said it wasn't the warmest of places, but one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited.
I snapped this outfit post on the Nyhavn, by the most beautiful pastel coloured houses and even though we were by the water and therefore it was completely freezing it was too cute to not get a few snaps.
This outfit was the perfect choice for being a tourist (I think the giant Copenhagen map and my unmissable camera swinging around my neck couldn't have spelt out TOURIST more) it was comfy, Scandi-esque and warm which ticked all the boxes for me.
