Beach Strolling In Polka Dots

Polka dots can be a bit like Marmite, you either love them or you hate them. In the past, I have avoided red polka dots as red was never a colour that I was hugely keen on, plus I was also very aware of the fact that I didn't want to end up looking like Minnie Mouse. However, when I walked into & Other Stories and saw this skirt when I was up in London the other week I had to have it.
Red is definitely a colour that has grown on me and that is evident in the recent additions to my wardrobe. I love it teamed with denim or white trainers or a white tee, it can be such a colour statement.

Yes, this may be ANOTHER pleated skirt but I don't own a polka dotted one so it's totally allowed! If your looking for some styling tips for pleated skirts then check out my post here.

These snaps were taken down at Hengistbury Head in Dorset. If you ever find yourself down on the South Coast it is a beautiful beach to visit which is just the other side of the New Forest. They have the most amazing beach huts along the beach and the sandbanks and there is a great little beach restaurant called The Beach House which is well worth a visit. The views are so beautiful and on a clear day, you can see the Isle Of Wight from the beach.

I have popped the skirt that is featured in this post below as well as some other amazing polka dot pieces, do let me know if you are equally hooked to polka dots as I am!
